When we need personal information to provide services that you request or when you choose to provide us with personal information, this policy statement describes how we collect and use that information.

Select Right
will comply with the National Privacy Principles unless exempt. The exemptions are acts done in meeting obligations under Commonwealth contracts (s.7B(2) Privacy Act) and in relation to employment relationships and records (s.7B(3) Privacy Act).

Personal information received by
Select Right
or its consultants in providing scribing and recruitment support services to Commonwealth and State departments/agencies as depicted in this web site, will only be used for the purposes of providing services for which we or our consultants are engaged. It will not be used for direct marketing.

Select Right
is acutely aware of the importance of confidentiality in dealing with clients’ documents and requires all of its consultants to sign a Code of Conduct agreement. Specifically the Code states that consultants are to:

  1. comply with the clients’ security procedures including those for the protection of security classified information;
  2. maintain appropriate confidentiality about dealings with any client or employee in the organisation which employs that client.

Where personal information is collected from other employers, we will take reasonable steps to comply with National Privacy Principle 1.3.
