Shortlisting
Let us shortlist your applicants down to a manageable number. We have handled shortlisting exercises of more than 800 applications, assessing all applications against selection criteria and job requirements to produce a final shortlist for panels to consider. We can either produce a final shortlist of candidate’s recommended for an interview or we can produce an interim shortlist, getting the numbers down to more manageable levels and giving Panels more control over the choice of final candidates for interview.

Interview Scheduling
We can organise the interviews, including confirming with applicants, allowing you to get on with other work.

Reference Checking
Checking your candidate’s references is often the only real means you have of verifying the skills and experience claimed in the resume and at the interview. Our consultants are skilled in obtaining candid and detailed information about candidates.

VR services
If your organisation is going through change and has voluntary redundancies on offer, we can work with staff to assess their next steps, set new goals, update resumes and cover letters and coach them towards their next career step.

I just wanted to pass on my positive feedback for the scribe who contacted me for a referee report for a candidate in a recruitment process you’re currently running. I recently provided a reference for a different candidate to another APS agency and was really disappointed with the quality of the transcript of our conversation by another local recruitment agency – more of the scribe’s comments made it to the report than my own. So I was pleasantly surprised to read how accurately and promptly Andrea Woolhouse from Select Right recorded my feedback in this process and wanted to let you know. I’ve passed my comments on to Andrea and asked her to forward them to her manager, and she provided your contact details on my request. Recruitment can be challenging so it’s great when you find a company that makes the task easier!
